Dealing with emergencies

Should an emergency strike, how prepared are you? Your response during potential crises, particularly how you handle the media, can cause irreparable damage if you have not thought through how you would cope in advance. This one day workshop will help you practise the techniques and teamwork necessary to handle the situation.

Who is the course for:

This course is best delivered to a team working in their normal setting. This could include:

Senior Diocesan, regional and national staff who will be called upon in times of crisis
Potential spokespeople (including Bishops, Archdeacons, diocesan staff, heads of department)
Communications directors and press officers

How to get your message across to key groups under difficult circumstances
How to think clearly under pressure
How to discern key messages over time
How to improve your response speed in times of crisis
