Being interviewed: how to get your message across
Appearing on TV or radio can be a nerve-wracking experience, but it’s also a great opportunity for getting your message across to thousands or even millions of people. This one-day workshop will help you become an effective interviewee, and give you the opportunity to practice your interview skills for both radio and TV.
Who is the course for:
- Clergy, church and charity staff and volunteers who may be interviewed about their work
- Press and communications officers
- Anyone who wants to use broadcasting opportunities to spread their message
What you will learn:
- Principles of good interview technique
- How to anticipate questions
- How to take and keep control of an interview
- How to minimize the possibility of being misquoted
